Red chillies, Coriander, Cumin, Fenugreek, Black Pepper, Bengal gram, Black gram, Toor dal, Turmeric, Mustard, Ginger, Asafoetida, Curry leaves and Salt.
Required Items for Sambar:
Vegetables (Potato, Beans, Drum Stick, Green Peas), Toor dal, Onion-2, Tomato-1, Green Chilli, Ginger, Garlic, Mustard, Curry Leaves, Coriander Leaves, Tamarind and 3 tbsp Chandu Sambar Powder.
How to Prepare:
Cook vegetables and toor dal separately. Add required quantity of water to the cooked toor dal. Add chopped onion, chopped tomato, squeezed tamarind, Green Chilli, 3 tbsp Chandu Sambar powder and salt to taste and boil in medium fire. When it boils add cooked vegetables and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves on top of it. Once you’ve finished, turn off the fire. Season with two tsp oil, mustard, garlic and curry leaves. Your tasty sambar is ready to serve.
